The MeltPro Multi-Drug Resistancy (MDR) Tuberculosis (TB) test kit, defines whether the the tuberculosis strain a patient has been infected with has developed a resistancy against two of the most commonly used antituberculous drugs: Rifampicin (RIF) and Isoniazid (INH). The kit is used for the qualitative detection of RIF and/or INH resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis from cultured Mycobacterium tuberculosis specimens or sputum samples.
